Ironclad was started by Ray Calloway after he came back to Franklin from a decade installing roofs in Colorado's hail belt. The premise was simple: do the work yourself, write the warranty so it actually means something, and don't door-knock after storms. Twenty-two years and 1,800+ roofs later, we're still doing it the same way.

What 'lifetime workmanship' means here
For as long as you own the house — in writing, on every contract.
Manufacturer warranties cover defects in the shingle. Workmanship warranties cover defects in the install. Most workmanship warranties last 5–10 years. Ours lasts as long as you own the home. If a vent boot we set in 2009 starts leaking in 2026, we replace it. No prorating, no exclusions.
- Transferable to the next owner once (adds resale value).
- Covers all flashing, underlayment, ridge cap, and nailing patterns we installed.
- Doesn't cover acts of God (hurricane, tornado) — that's your insurance carrier's job, and we'll help with that claim too.
- Plus the 50-year GAF System Plus manufacturer warranty on the materials.
